Stationery superheroes Artline have teamed up with eye care specialists Scrivens to launch a summer colouring competition with a difference.
The specialist marker brand are inviting children to visit one of Scrivens’ 175 stores and design a pair of glasses, with a few lucky winners receiving an Artline Art Kit.
Children can simply pop into their local store, pick up a colouring sheet and let their imagination run wild. Scrivens are asking budding artists to donate £1 to enter, with all funds going to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Jasmine Jones, Business Development Manager for Shachihata Europe, is excited for the competition to launch: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the team at Scrivens for this year’s summer competition. We’ll be promoting it heavily over the next few weeks with entries shared across social media and in the press.”
And, whilst summer plans are still in full flow, the imminent return to school is never too far away.
One important part of this planning is making sure your family have had their regular eye checkup, with summer being the perfect time to get young ones and parents eyes tested. Thanks to Artline, if you go into any Scrivens you will be greeted with a colourful task to keep little hands busy while waiting for your appointment.
Jasmine added that the partnership with Scrivens was the perfect fit for both brands: “When being creative, especially in fine detail, it is important to take care of eyes. Close up work, lighting and working outdoors all effect how your eyes react and – of course – how creative your work can be.
“We wanted to help Scrivens spread that message and they will be offering us lots of hints and tips for our creative consumers. Hopefully, we can give busy parents a well-earned break, by allowing their kids to get creative!”
