Cutting the Mustard

Small Man Media has cut the mustard with an emerging stationery and gift provider, charged with the task of making the brand a ‘household name’.

Mustard, the creators of stylish, colourful and quirky accessories, has enlisted the support of the Wolverhampton based PR-agency, who have a wealth of experience in the industry.

The overarching aim will be to raise London-based Mustard’s presence amongst consumers, by championing product categories to a vibrant, young-at-heart audience.

Managing events, content marketing and social networking assistance will also be provided by Small Man Media, whose team will be headed up by managing director Rachel Smallman.

Mustard founder Reuben Utudjian said: “We are thrilled to be getting to work with Small Man Media. We were impressed by their industry knowledge and enthusiasm for our brand as a whole.

“We are a soulful business. We don’t believe in putting polka dots on a notepad and calling it contemporary. We are just focused on designing innovative, unique products that capture people’s imaginations.

“We want to create demand, kudos and a sense of bravado around what we do and I feel that Small Man Media can help us to achieve this.”

Mustard employs a team of designers who work with their head office in New York to unearth most emerging fashions before integrating these trends into their line of products, well before their competitors.

Small Man Media’s managing director Rachel Smallman said: “We are naturally thrilled to be in a position to work with Reuben and the Mustard team. Their products are as memorable as anything we have come across and it will be a rewarding challenge in bringing them to a wide audience.”
