Small Man Media is celebrating a maiden industry award for its skills in public relations, after winning a 2017 SME News Midlands Enterprise Award.
The PR specialists, based in Wolverhampton, have been honoured with a ‘Best Press Release Solutions Provider’ accolade after the company’s written work was studied by a panel of judges.
The Midlands Enterprise Awards highlight those firms in the region that have shown innovation, service and
performance over the last 12 months, achieving standards of excellence in their chosen field.
Small Man Media was founded by Rachel Smallman in 2010 and has evolved considerably to become a leading PR agency in the West Midlands, calling on Bridgestone, Firestone, Sheaffer, Derwent and Mustard as clients.
The Waterloo Road based team, headed up by Rachel and her husband Ben, now employs three members of staff and offers a range of services including social networking strategy, content marketing, public relations, event support and much more.
Rachel said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised for this award and especially delighted as writing is key to the success we have when obtaining press coverage for our clients.
“We pride ourselves on our ‘get to the point’ copy and our clear understanding what is going to appeal to the press in order to get stories placed.
“Creating concise, clean copy is a staple part of our client offering. It is great to be honoured in this way. Our aims are to continue fulfilling our clients’ needs, to build our portfolio and hopefully enjoy more moments like these in the future.”
